Born and raised in a tiny town, Roanoke Rapids, NC, where I grew up catching lightening bugs in pickle jars, watching "The Stories" with my Grandma, and having to be home before the street lights came on. 

 

I graduated from THEE University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Communications degree. My concentrations were Interpersonal and Organizational Communications and Performance Studies. I minored in African American Studies.

My journey in the realm of creativity, strategy, and marketing has been untraditional. I got my start in the Myspace, Hi5 era. Where I taught myself how to code to code so I could have “H!5 Pr!N(3s5” fall down the page with Nivea’s Complicated embedded in the background to play when you first opened my page. I would spend hours coordinating the perfect fonts, visuals, and songs to represent who I was. I got so good I’d even design pages for friends. That small hobby led me to a profound passion for shaping growing brands and captivating target audiences.

 

With a seasoned background in guiding clients toward cultivating their unique brand identities and seamlessly weaving them into their marketing strategies, I've played a pivotal role in catapulting numerous businesses toward exponential growth and helping them find purpose in their passion.

 

From the dynamic world of social media to the intricacies of branding, my experience spans far and wide. I've orchestrated and navigated social media campaigns across diverse platforms, transforming them into vibrant avenues for brand engagement. My proficiency in graphic design, coupled with a flair for persuasive copywriting and a knack for deciphering data, ensures a holistic approach to every facet of a brand's journey.
